I booked an appointment to get the cezanne hair treatment done. I had to wait 3 weeks to get in. I booked the day off work and then got a call 2 hours before my appointment that it was cancelled due to the stylist having an emergency. They had no business plan to back up an absence and told me I had to wait another 2 weeks to fit me in again making that a 5 week wait for an appointment. The customer service was poor, I found the staff very snooty. I was as if the client should feel privledged for going there not the other way around. There was no offer for compensation or discount for the last minute cancellation, even after finding out I had wasted a days vacation. I found another salon to do the treatment that day in Newmarket (hair dynasty) and my hair turned out amazing!

Hi Lisa, I'm so sorry that we had to cancel your appointment, as you stated the stylist scheduled to do your service did have an emergency. We do our best to keep all appointments as we know they are hard to come by and we certainly don't do this often but sometimes it is just unavoidable. We are an appointment based service company so in regards to having a back up it wouldn't work without interrupting other multiple appointments for other guests. As far as compensation we don't charge a cancellation fee to our guests when they have to cancel last minute for whatever reason and so we don't offer compensation when we have to do that either. Im glad you were able to find someone last minute to do the service for you and that you are happy with the results, Hair Dynasty has many talented stylists, glad they were able to help you.
