About Us

We design buildings (residential, commercial, industrial), do site planning, interior design, space planning, green design and zoning resolution work.

Your design is developed by integrating your vision of the completed space, the proposed use, any current building restrictions, lot configuration, and proposed vision of the new or added space or building. We listen to your ideas, preferred style of construction, and how you will use the space before we develop several options for your consideration.

We do concept drawings, construction drawings, proposal drawings, interior design, space planning, renderings, fly-throughs and more to help you visualize the project before investing into the next phase. We also integrate our work with other professionals to avoid additional costs and time delays, always considering options to reduce the overall cost of the project.

Depending on the proposed project, site planning can be relatively simple or quite complex. The concept must be developed, drawings and presentation materials prepared and presented to the appropriate officials for approvals before you can begin construction.

A well thought out and designed site plan will determine such things as the optimum place for the structure, the best parking and street layout, options for storm water management, how to best screen the waste, avoidance of traffic flow issues and more. We will work with you to develop the necessary design plans and presenting the materials for consideration and approval to town or city officials.

Zoning can be straightforward, but often is a matter for interpretation. Each community has its own set of by-laws and local preferences. We investigate feasibility of potential zoning changes for our clients, anonymously if requested, to see if it makes sense to continue with the process. Should the outlook appear favourable, we develop and present a proposal for consideration and approval to the appropriate officials.

An initial consultation is always at no cost to our clients. We feel strongly that because construction is often lengthy and a somewhat intimate process, it is important that our clients feel comfortable with their choice of designer. A list of references is available upon request.
