About Us

Heather Faris grew up making music with her family, learning piano from her classically trained mother, and singing from her father. She trained at University of Western Ontario in voice and piano, and holds degrees in both subjects with Conservatory Canada. She provides private voice, piano, and theory lessons, preparing students for festivals in the fall and spring, Christmas and June recitals, ORMTA, NATS musical theater, arts school and university auditions, and exams. Mrs. Faris is an active member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, and was just honoured with their Special Teacher's award. She is also an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

Her students have met with much success, including winning the highest mark in Ontario in a Royal Conservatory voice exam. She is known for her patience, caring, and positive attitude. Her commitment is to help each person achieve their best, and to foster a love of music that lasts a life time.
